Coral Coast

THE scenic Coral Coast of Fiji is one of the most famous parts of Fiji for vacation travel, with excellent write-ups in travel reviews. Tourism is well-developed but the region remains scenic and uncommercialised. Coral Coast accommodation is also easy to get to, being accessible by the main highway direct from Nadi International Airport, with the journey taking from 1-3 hours depending on how far down the coast you are going. In addition to a number of 4 and 5 star hotels, there are a number of smaller resorts and inns providing lodging for singles, couples, families or groups. Features of this region include a long, winding coastline with an outer reef parallelling the shore and creating gentler inner lagoons ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
